Exlabesa is a business group founded in 1966 that is dedicated to the extrusion of aluminum and PVC, offering a variety of products for architecture and industry, from 7 production plants that have presence in 40 countries on 3 continents.
In order to offer products that are becoming lighter, more reliable and with less impact on their environment, they have registered two Product Environmental Declarations verified with the DAPcons® seal, within the Program Operator DAPconstrucción® : the DAPcons® 100.008 regarding the aluminum door with thermal bridge break and the DAPcons® 100.009, referring to the aluminum window with thermal bridge break. Both products are mainly manufactured at the Exlabesa production plants in A Coruña and Pontevedra, but the profiles and assemblies are cut at workshops throughout Spain.
Aluminum Door Bracket with Thermal Bridge Breaker is an average product that includes several series of doors made of lacquered / anodized aluminum profiles, with thermal bridge break, double glazed and with sliding / hinged openings.
On the other hand, the product of aluminum window with break of thermal bridge is an average product that includes several series of windows with the same previously mentioned characteristics.
The company ReMa-Ingeniería SL, a member affiliated with the Program Operator DAPconstrucción®, has been responsible for preparing the ACV Life Cycle Analysis, being verified by INÈDIT Innovació SL.
These Environmental Product Statements are "from cradle to grave", that is, the environmental impacts of the product are analyzed, taking into account the stage of manufacture, construction, use and end of life. Both DAPcons® are based on the CPR 100 General Construction Products and NPCR 014 Windows and doors, EPD-Norgue and are valid until June 2023.
The Program Operator DAPconstrucción® was created in 2008 and specializes in construction products, with the aim of bringing together manufacturers who want to advance in analyzing the environmental impacts of their products and committing to environmental improvement.
