In only four generations, humans have exceeded the limits and the physical capacity of the majority of the Earth's ecosystems, which has generated major impacts, both environmental and social and economic. This has made us see that the current model of development is clearly unsustainable and for all that we are in a paradigm shift that is still defining.
Among these last changes we must consider solutions that make more sustainable model and concepts have appeared this regard as the "circular economy" or the "zero waste" which, despite having different backgrounds converge force at the time must define decisions, measures, actions and behaviors to move towards the same goal. Furthermore, the building sector is crucial if we want to improve this situation, because it consumes 50% of all natural resources, 30% water and 40% of final energy consumption, emits 35% of greenhouse gases and generates 35% of total waste.
